I found a photo similar to this on google and my step dad loves tigers so I painted it for him for his birthday. I don't recall the exact size but it's a little smaller than 18x24" and done in oils.
After I found a good tiger image on google I used a grid pattern to get the basic details that I wanted, and then painted the base layer followed by the top. Hope you like it.
